I Used Canva AI to Create a Complete Social Campaign

The Challenge: A Full Campaign in One Day

A client needed a 30-day social campaign — 12 Instagram posts, 8 Facebook graphics, 6 stories, and a cover refresh — and they needed it fast. Normally that's a week of design work. I decided to run an experiment: build the entire campaign using only Canva AI. Here's exactly what happened.

Step 1: Strategy First (30 Minutes)

Before touching any design tool, I outlined the campaign: 3 content pillars, a consistent color palette, and one core message per week. AI is fast, but it isn't a strategy — you still need to decide what you're saying and to whom.

Step 2: Generate the Core Visuals (2 Hours)

I used Canva's Magic Design to generate the hero layouts:

• Typed descriptions for each post type (quote graphics, product promos, tips)
• Selected the strongest layout per pillar
• Locked everything to the client's Brand Kit — logo, fonts, colors
